Nps10
System

Nps10 allows the production of a broad range of nanomaterials without major process changes or adjustments, including simple metal oxides (for example SiO2, TiO2 Al2O3), complex oxides (YSZ, CGO, ITO), carbonates, phosphates, titanates, noble metals, as well as nanocomposites (for example alumina-supported Pt), with a particle sizes of the order of 10 nm.

Tethis can offers collecting unit for nanoparticles specifically designed for the coupling with nps10 system, responding to the different customers requirements. Two different modules are available: the cheapest and easy to use model, where collected nanopowders need to be manually removed from a glass fiber filter, allows the production of 0.5 to 1.5 grams of nanopowder in 15 minutes. Otherwise nanopowders production can be increased at rates around 30 to 50 grams per hour using the automated model for continuous filtration1, within Tethis will offer assistance during the definition and design of the more suitable system to their needs.

The innovative materials produced with nps10 can be used in different application area such as:
  • catalysis,
  • polymeric additivation,
  • biomedical (antibacterial action),
  • energy (batteries, hydrogen storage, fuell cells).
