microFIND® research is a brand new product developed applying nanotechnology to research in cytogenetics. The device is suited for interphase Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization (FISH) on cytological suspensions coming mainly from blood, bone marrow or urine specimens. It is a microfluidic device assembled from a nanocoated slide and a microfluidic rubber pad where the FISH assay takes place. The nanocoating that allows the performances of the device is produced starting from a Tethis patented technology (PMCS). This material enhances cell retention in order to immobilize the specimen inside microFIND®research. Furthermore the nanocoating guarantees a very good cell distribution on the surface of the slide, for optimal analytical results.
