microFIND®, designed to perform Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization (FISH) on biological samples, consists of a functionalized (coated) glass slide and 1 to 4 microfluidic channels (pads) to be used as effective alternative to standard slides, for sample processing.

microFIND® offers your desired level of automation from semi to fully- automated solutions for FISH assays. Two different models are currently available: autoFIND S and autoFIND F.

Proprietary coating

microFIND® is a slide with a proprietary coating, coupled with microfluidic compartments or microchannels, where cells are loaded and processed for FISH: after hybridizations slides are further analyzed by fluorescence microscopy using conventional manual or automated systems.

Suitable samples

microFIND®, used as alternative to standard slides, is designed to replace standard FISH sample preparation on slides, to fully automated FISH for the following biological samples:

  • Fixed cells in the form of standard cytogenetic pellet from peripheral blood PB and bone marrow BM, either primary or cultured

  • Fixed cells in the form of cytogenetic pellet from spontaneous urine

  • Living white blood cells, not previously fixed, from PB and BM, either primary or cultured, or pre-selected by IMAC (Immobilized Metal Ion Affinity Chromatography) or FACS (Fluorescent-Activated Cell Sorting) methods

microFIND® for autoFIND

microFIND® 1L is a consumable device to use combined with autoFIND S.
microFIND® is constituted by a coated glass slide and a microfluidic element (microchannel).


microFIND® slides are designed to provide the processing of 1 up to 4 hybridizations occurring inside the microchannels.
autoFIND F manages all microFIND® configurations, i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4 pad (test) per slide.

microFIND® is a consumable device to use combined with autoFIND F.
The microFIND® device is constituted by a coated glass slide and a microfluidic element. The coated slides are packaged in a suitable 25-items plastic box, which is in turn stored into a sealed envelope in controlled atmosphere (slide-pack). Each microfluidic element is singularly stored in a dedicated plastic envelope, which is sealed in clean-room atmosphere. Plastic envelopes are grouped in 5-items packages (pad-pack). A box of microFIND® includes one slide-pack (25 slides) and 5 pad-pack (25 microfluidic elements), arranged in a single box (microFIND® box).
Since the microfluidic elements do exist in 4 versions (1, 2, 3, or 4 microchannels per slide), according to the version of the microfluidic element, 25, 50, 75, or 100 single determinations are available in each microFIND® box.
